What are Some Uses of Cast Bronze Plaques?

Posted by Sacred Engraving on 12/17/2014
Most often, we see cast bronze plaques in parks and along trails denoting historical moments and providing information about geography, climate, or the ecology of an area. Because cast bronze is composed of copper, tin, aluminum and zinc, it won’t rust, and will holds up against the elements making it perfect for outdoor use.

There are many other outdoor uses for customizable cast bronze plaques that provide wonderful gifts for loved ones. Creating a custom cast bronze name plaque complete with a whimsical design or sentimental quote can add beauty and splendor to an otherwise ordinary landscape or garden. House numbers and address plaques cast in bronze can also add a nice touch to your home’s curb appeal.

While it’s always sad to say goodbye to a beloved pet, a cast bronze plaque is a lovely way to honor and memorialize your companion animal. Add special touches by having a favorite photograph etched into the plaque.

We also see cast bronze plaques in schools and universities honoring faculty, student accomplishments, scholarship awardees, and sports achievements. Buildings and institutions will often be dedicated with a cast bronze plaque denoting information from the donor and building’s namesake who made the construction of the building possible. These institutions do not have the corner on the market, however.

You can also honor your family and friends along with their accomplishments with cast bronze plaques. Customize a bronze plaque for milestone anniversaries, give them as wedding gifts with the newlyweds’ names and wedding date. You can also celebrate the birth of a child with the baby’s name, date and size at birth. It's a gift that will certainly be appreciated by new parents.

Bronze plaques are completely customizable to your needs and can be formed into many different shapes and sizes, making them incredibly versatile. There are so many different uses for cast bronze plaques that it just takes a little thought and imagination  to come up with the perfect way to honor and celebrate your loved ones.
